What the badge means

A verified badge means a MahaWork reviewer checked documents the member submitted for their profile type (identity, professional, creator-account or business evidence). It does not guarantee quality, reliability, employment or future conduct, and it is not a government endorsement.

Accepted documents

Accepted document types depend on profile type and are listed on the verification page. We never require Aadhaar.

How we handle documents

• Stored outside public web storage; no public links.
• Viewed only by authorised reviewers through short-lived links; every view is logged.
• Deleted after the retention period following a decision, unless a valid legal or safety reason requires retention.

Expiry and revocation

Verification may expire, and may be revoked if evidence shows it is no longer accurate.
